The Golden Turmeric Shake
Turmeric has become a house hold ingredient for health enthusiasts. Turmeric has long been used for its medicinal properties and has been known for its potent anti-inflammatory properties and assistance with digestion. Pairing turmeric with healthy fats (including coconut milk) is the best way to ensure it is absorbed by the body and for maximum health benefits. This shake is also an excellent source of vitamin C and is deigned to flood the body with immune boosting and anti-inflammatory nutrients.
2 oranges, peeled
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 medjool date, pitted
½ cup coconut cream
Blend until smooth and serve in a glass. Top with an extra pinch of turmeric powder if desired.
